👉 About the Position

DHA Lahore is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director (Infrastructure) to manage and support enterprise-level IT infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in server administration, virtualization, networking, system security, automation, and disaster recovery management.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

📚 Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree (4 Years) in:

• Computer Science

• Information Technology

• Software Engineering

• Or an equivalent relevant discipline

✅ Degree must be obtained from an HEC-recognized university.
✅ HEC attestation is mandatory.

💼 Experience

• Preferably 3 years of relevant professional experience in IT Infrastructure Management.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

🖥️ Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, and maintain high-availability servers, storage, and networking environments.

• Administer Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems.

☁️ Virtualization & Cloud Technologies

• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and KVM.

🤖 Automation & Configuration Management

• Develop automation solutions using Shell Scripting, Ansible, and Chef.

🌐 Enterprise Application Administration

• Administer enterprise web and application servers such as:

  • Apache

  • Tomcat

  • Oracle WebLogic

  • IBM WebSphere

🔄 Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Execute backup, disaster recovery, and restoration testing procedures.

📊 Performance Monitoring & Capacity Planning

• Monitor infrastructure performance, resource utilization, and capacity planning.

🔒 Security & Compliance

• Implement system hardening, patch management, and security compliance measures.

🚀 Operational Excellence

• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

🏅 Preferred Certifications

Candidates holding any of the following certifications will be given preference:

• VMware vSphere

• Red Hat Linux

• Data Center Virtualization

• CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer)

• CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist)

📜 Terms & Conditions

• Selected candidate will undergo a 6-month probation period, extendable based on performance.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for test/interview.

• Attested educational documents must be submitted at the time of joining.

• Selected candidate will be required to provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
