Job Description
The Senior Application Support Executive will be responsible for overseeing application development, maintenance, and overall application strategy within the hospital IT ecosystem. This role provides critical backend and application support for Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), Triage systems, patient flow modules, ERP, and database operations.
The position ensures smooth system performance by resolving end-user issues, troubleshooting application and integration problems, and maintaining the stability and efficiency of hospital-wide software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete application lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and debugging
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for system development and integration
- Ensure application architecture supports security, scalability, and high performance requirements
- Provide expert-level support for HMIS modules including patient management, billing, and clinical systems
- Manage backend systems including databases and integration platforms
- Resolve end-user queries related to HMIS, ERP, and other hospital applications
- Deliver timely technical support to minimize system downtime
- Troubleshoot and debug complex application and integration issues
- Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes
